It is very important that you read the following rules so that you know what you can and cant do on Chickapets. Using Chickapets means you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. If you are under 18 please make sure that your Parent or Guardian has read and accepted them before you play the site.
As a guest you do not own the accounts, activities, items, chicka points, characters, locations, games, pets or anything else on this web site.
Chickapets is a fun friendly safe place to play and we appreciate you helping to keep it that way. Any breaking of rules will result in either your account being muted, suspended (frozen), deleted and or permanently banned from the site. Admin's decisions are final.
Multiple Accounts
Multiply accounts are strictly prohibited on chickapets. If you are found to have multiple accounts, all accounts may be suspended and or deleted.
- You may only have ONE account on chickapets.
- You may NOT enter another users account for any reason
- You may NOT take over someone else's account or have an account given to you
- You may not share an account with another person
You have permission to make a fan site for chickapets and use any images available from chickapets, however..
- You must host the images yourself.
- You must include a copyright notice such as 'Copyright Chickapets.com - Used With Permission' on all pages containing Chickapets content.
- The copyright notice MUST link to www.chickapets.com
It is important that you play safe and don't give anyone personally identifiable information such as your e-mail address, physical address, school name, last name, photographs of yourself, instant messenger username or telephone number.
Content
The following rules apply to all areas of chicka pets where user input is made, for example Forums, News Comments, Profile Comments, Clubs, Profiles, Pet Pages the Shout Box and Chicka Mail. The below rules include words, images and links.
- Do NOT use profanity, obscenities ("swear words")
- Do NOT use gang-slang or promote gangs.
- Do NOT use sexual content, cybering
- Do NOT abuse, attack, threaten, insult or harass another member
- Do NOT ask for a members personal details
- Do NOT beg for items
- Do NOT post information that might identify another member
- Do NOT use material regarding political, social, or religious views or opinions
- Do NOT attempt to scam another member
- Do NOT spam
- Do NOT use chickapets as a means for dating
- DO NOT post anything considered unsuitable for children.
- DO NOT put links to other web sites
- DO NOT post music.(This is due to copyright laws)
- DO NOT post images not owned by you. (many images available online are subject to copyright laws and using them is illegal without proper consent. Staff cannot check that every image used is legal to use or that you have permission to use them)
If you are caught doing any of the above your account will be muted and or suspended.
Chicka Mails
Staff are able to access all mail on Chickapets to moderate the chat between members. This does not mean we go snooping and reading your mail but we do check mail where a need arises.
Chat
Do not spam the shout box for any reason ...Swearing and or abuse of other players is strictly prohibited. If you are caught doing this your account will be muted and or suspended.
Staff
Do not ask to be a staff member. If you are a fun friendly active member of chickapets you may be invited to become a staff member.
Staff will never ask you for items, personal information and or your password. To check if someone is staff, their rank is viewable on their profiles, after their name on the who is online page and are present on the staff page.
Inactivity
Accounts found to be inactive for more than 3 months may be permanently removed from our system.
Accounts found to have no log in history may be deleted after 1 month of account creation.
Donations
Donation can be made to Chickapets in a variety of ways which go towards helping to pay our server costs, upgrades and the like.
We offer a number of ways you can donate so that you can choose your thank you gift.
All donations made are not refundable under any circumstances.
- Premium
Premium Accounts are given as a gift in return for a donation of $25 or more. All premium accounts are subject to the same Terms of Service as non premium accounts. Premium Membership does not give you any privileges. If your account is suspended or deleted for any reason the premium membership will not be transferred to any new account. - Credit Shop
Chicka Credits are available from the chicka credits shop as a thank you gift for your donation. You are able to spend your credits on the items of your choosing. - Donations
As a thank you, you will be awarded a gift of chicka points for the money you donate.
Information we Collect
We collect certain information from you when you sign up to chicka pets such as
- Your email address (this is hidden from public view and will never be given out or sold)
- Your IP Address: (only viewed by staff members)
- Your Age Range: Chickapets is recommended for persons over the age of 13. That doesn't mean you cant play but people under 13 years of age will not have access to certain site features such as posting on forums and chicka mail.
Chickapets reserves the right to update/change the TOS at any time without notice.
Chickapets may terminate your account with or without reason and with or without notice at any time. Admin's decisions are final.
