Chicka Pets.com: Terms of Service

The following is the agreement between you and Chicka Pets and are the applicable rules when you visit and play on our site. 

It is very important that you read the following rules so that you know what you can and can't do on Chicka Pets. Using Chicka Pets means you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. If you don't understand the rules, please ask your parents.

If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, you may not play on this site.

Chicka Pets Is A Game
As a guest you do not own the accounts, activities, items, Chicka points, characters, locations, games, avatars,  pets etc.

You can't sell anything for real money. This means that you cannot try to make money off the virtual items or currency in your account or even sell the time it took you to collect such items.

Play Safely
It is important that you play safe and don't give anyone personally identifiable information such as your e-mail address, physical address, school name, last name, photographs of yourself, instant messenger usernames or telephone number. If in doubt the best safety policy is to follow your parents rules regarding playing online

Respect The Community.
You understand and agree that you will not post or send any words, images or links relating to:  profanity, obscenities, sexual content, comments, or opinions about other people or things that slander, defame, threaten, insult or harass another person, gangs, gang-slang, or the promotion of gangs, information that might identify another user, material regarding political, social, or religious views or opinions, requests for user passwords, scamming or spamming.

We have a zero tolerance to cyber bullying! 

Inactivity
Accounts found to be inactive for more than 3 months may be removed from our system. we reserve the right to permanently erase your account and everything associated with your account. No exceptions.

Accounts
MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED!

Do Not Share Your Account.  You shall not share your account with anyone or allow anyone else other than you personally to access or use your account. You will be held responsible for any activity that occurs on your account.

Chat/Comments/Forums
Do not spam the shout box or any other conversation area of Chicka Pets for any reason...Swearing and or abuse of other players is strictly prohibited. If you are caught doing this your account will be muted and you will no longer be able to use any chat functions on the site including clubs and forums. Depending on your offense, your account may also be suspended.

In no event do we have any responsibility or liability for anything posted by you or another player.  You hereby represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights in and to all Postings you provide and all information they contain and that such Postings shall not infringe any proprietary or other rights of third parties or contain any libelous, tortious, obscene, pornographic, threatening, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, illegal, or otherwise objectionable, or that would constitute or encourage a criminal offense, violate the rights of any person, or otherwise violate any law or give rise to liability

Donations/Elite Points
Donations can be made to Chicka Pets to help pay for our server costs, upgrades, new flash games, pets, artwork and the like.

As a thank you, you will be awarded a gift of elite points for the money you donate. These Elite points may be used to purchase a thank you gift of your choice from the Elite Points donation shop or by choosing an Elite Membership Balloon.

ALL MATERIALS CONTAINED ON Chicka Pets is DISTRIBUTED AND TRANSMITTED ON AN "AS IS" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless, us, ours affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, representatives, and third party providers from and against all losses, expenses, damages and costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees, resulting from any violation of this Agreement by you. We reserve the right to assume, at its sole expense, the exclusive defence and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which event you will fully cooperate with us in asserting any available defences. You hereby agree that any action at law or in equity arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions or the site shall be filed only in the city or courts located Melbourne Victoria Australia.

We reserve the right, at any time and from time to time, for any reason in our sole discretion, to change the terms of this Agreement. Once we modify the Agreement, these changes become effective immediately.
