Chickapets: Privacy Policy
Personally Identifying information.
Chickapets and their staff will not ask for members real names, addresses, postal codes (zip codes), dates of birth or any other personally identifying information.
During the registration process members are asked for an email address for the purposes of confirming registration and password retrieval in the event they forget their password or their account becomes hijacked.
Their email address will never be displayed on their user profiles or anywhere else on the site.
The email address must be a real email address that they can access to retrieve the confirmation code email, they may however create a web mail account for this purpose.
Chickapets does not require members to give their age but we do require members state whether or not they are under the age of 13 for legal reasons.
The safety of minors is extremely important to us.
Under 13s will require parental consent to have full access to all content.
Non Personally Identifying Information.
Chickapets uses cookies required for login to the Chickapets website. These cookies gather non personally identifying information which may from time to time be used to enhance the site. This information includes the IP address assigned to their internet connection by their Internet Service Provider, the web browser they are using to browse the website, their computers operating system and their connection speed.
Chickapets will never sell or distribute any information in any way to any third party sites or companies. Chickapets would only disclose information as a result of a court order to a law enforcement agency.
Chickapets on site mail may be monitored for security reasons, law enforcement or similar. Only when necessary for the protection of members or as a result of any court order.
3rd Party Sites.
Chickapets does not collect information for Third Party Websites.
We do have links to Third Party Websites who have their own policies and may or may not collect different information to us if visited. It is advised that if visiting these sites you review their Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
