As a new arrival you may wish to go shopping and buy some clothing for your Character.
Once you are dressed I'd suggest you get a pet to keep you company. You are allowed up to 4 pets and there are many pets available to choose from, you can create one or adopt or even go searching in the forrest or fishing in the pond for rare pets.
Everyone on Chicka Island is very friendly and expect the same from you. Rememeber to play safe and not give out any personal information about yourself.
